LighthouseME is built and managed by the Maine Immigrants' Rights Coalition (MIRC) — in partnership with Presente! Maine, coalition members, partners, and local organizers across the state — to help immigrants and other Mainers find trusted information, connect to resources, explore data, and understand the issues impacting immigrants in Maine.

This site is for community members, advocates, journalists, researchers, and government representatives seeking accurate, historical information about issues impacting communities in Maine, whether as a result of escalations in immigration enforcement or other policies, and resources available in Maine. Our Data Dashboards and mapping tools offer information that is reviewed and verified before publication. Our analysis and reports are presented with methodological context and downloadable datasets for anyone to explore. Third-party datasets we analyze may be incomplete or delayed, and we always present the information with appropriate caveats. Users are expected to engage with this information responsibly.

LighthouseME does not provide legal advice or ongoing direct services. For legal assistance, contact our friends at the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP), or check out our Resource Hub. If you need help finding a service, finding information, or think you see immigration enforcement agents, you can contact the Hotline at .
